Issue #4 - January/February

News: Ohrrpgce Monthly is now... a bi-monthly magazine, but will retain the name for purposes of confusion. There hasn't been an Ohrrpgce Monthly since November, so let's see about the news... Operation: Ohr has evolved into the main Ohrrpgce site... the Ohrrpgce itself had an update in December (although I have not yet downloaded it), which adds a few new features and bug-fixes... that's about all I can remember as far as news.

Normal sections: The dual feature, which was written by me, is about game Ends of the Earth, and its sequel Ends of the Earth 2, both of which are full games, not demos as have been my previous features. The cover was also done by Grandtrain. Previewed this month are Endless Saga, Endless Evil, Legacy of Time, Babel, some game which I had forgotten the name of, Astroboy in Armaggeddon or something like that, Gelvaldian Stakes, Runes of the Magi, and my game's First Fifth. New releases for this month were The Adventures of Powerstick Man, Walthros, The Land of Blobs, Minesweepa, Duck and MJ 2, The Night Santa Went Crazy, The Rise of the Dragon Slayers, and Sailor Moon RPG: Another Dimension. Interviewed this month was Moogle1. The design section, by me, is the first in a three part series on game design.

Acknowledgments and thanks: to Grandtrain who drew the cover, to Moogle1, who granted interview, to those who sent games for me to preview, and to all the people who voted for the top30, informed me about the release dates of their games (for the calendar), to Valkayree for allowing me to cover his two Ends of the Earth games, to Charbile for miscellaneous assistance, and especially to those people who emailed me asking when the issue was going to be done.

Next month: Umm... next month? March & April issue? I really haven't thought that far in ahead... what ohrrpgce game would you like to see featured? Email me and send me your advice, and I may feature a game you suggest.
