More previews than expected this month, more than twice as much as last month. Thank you to everyone who sent them in.

If you want a preview of your game, email me the game and some info (special features it will have, who the authors are, what is the game's history, anything about how the game is expected to be when it is finished).

Send me games to preview please... only 39.8% of those who say they'll send me their game actually do!

Revelation Mages

Revelation Mages is a game by Mewmew. As you can see, it uses a 3/4 perspective not often seen in Ohrrpgce games. It seems he has abandoned Rinoath and Hesitation in favor of this game.

I have not actually played it, but he tells me that it will feature a large variety of magic and sword attacks, and that there will be about 20+ characters to get. Anyway, I for one am looking forward to this game... Rinoath and Hesitation are two of my favorite Ohrrpgce games.

Walthros

Before you look at the simplistic graphics and dismiss this as another newbie game, let me say that this game actually has an interesting story, and has a good music selection (mostly classical, like Beethoven's moonlight sonata, etc.). Anyway, here are the author's words about this game:

"The game is intended to be a bizarre satire of various things, with a large cast of characters, each of whom plays an active role in the story. (I'm aware, though, that it starts out kind of slow.) Where the game came from: For years, I'd been making short little comic books about Bob Surlaw, the main character of Walthros. When I eventually I found OHRRPGCE, I tried making a couple games with it based on his adventures. Not satisfied with how they turned out, I ditched them, and started work on what would become Walthros in October 2000. Release date: Some time 2001."

Dimensions IV

What happened to Dimensions I, II, and III, anyway? This game, by Masamune49 of Cube games, seems pretty interesting. The plot is particularly well done, and involves parellel dimensions and time. We haven't seen too many of that particular story-genre on the Ohrrpgce, and so I'm looking forward to seeing the rest of this game.

The Adventures of Powerstick Man

The Adventures of Powerstick Man like Walthros, also began as a comic book creation of the author. The game has a really offbeat story involving a tennis player becoming a superhero. It also has a lot of popular culture references from the 80s and 90s...  Look for a demo of this game as early as next month.
